Plus, Woodland asphalt shingles can also be upgraded to a GAF FORTIFIED roof, which adds an additional layer of strength to GAF’s already robust, durable asphalt roofing system. - Woodland shingles have earned the highest roofing fire rating of UL Class A (Listed to ANSI/UL 790).
- It has an impact resistance rating of UL 2218 Class 4. This rating was attained during impact testing that includes dropping various sized steel balls onto the shingles from various heights, and then examining for any cracks, tears or fractures. Only products that can withstand the impact of a 2-inch steel ball, dropped from 20 feet, receive the highest rating of UL 2218 Class 4.

When you install GAF Lifetime Shingles with at least 3 qualifying GAF accessories, you receive a Lifetime Limited Warranty on your qualifying GAF Products.
